What to Expect: The Order Journey from Purchase to Delivery

Day 0: Your Order Is Placed

As soon as payment clears, your order is logged and a confirmation email goes to the address you provided. At this point, your companion doesn't exist yet — it's made from scratch specifically for your order. This is standard for all AIBEI Luxe companions; there's no warehouse of pre-built dolls waiting to ship.

Day 1: Production Begins

Within 24 hours of payment confirmation, your order enters the AIBEI Luxe production queue. Your specifications — head sculpt, skin tone, eye color, any upgrades you selected — are locked and passed to your assigned artisan team. At this point, changes to the order become complicated and may incur a fee. If you need to change anything, contact us immediately.

Days 2–15: Artisan Production

This is the longest phase. The exact duration depends on the complexity of your companion — a standard TPE model typically takes 7–10 days; a platinum silicone companion with upgrades might take closer to 12–15. Production isn't just pouring and cutting — it includes hand-finishing, detail painting, joint fitting, and surface quality review.

We don't send production updates during this phase unless there's a delay. If your order is going to take longer than the stated estimate, we'll let you know proactively.

Pre-Shipment: 5-Stage Quality Check

Before your companion leaves the studio, it goes through our quality control process:

  1. Structural integrity — skeleton, joints, all functional areas
  2. Surface finish — no bubbling, tears, or uneven pigmentation
  3. Joint range of motion — all joints move correctly within expected range
  4. Material safety compliance — visual check for any issues with the raw material
  5. Specification compliance — your exact order matches what was produced

Items that don't pass are corrected and re-inspected before proceeding.

Packaging

Passed units are cleaned with medical-grade solution, air-dried, and vacuum-sealed in protective film. Then boxed in plain, unmarked cardboard. No brand name, no product description, no identifying information on the exterior. The label shows only logistics information.

Shipment Day: You Get a Tracking Number

When FedEx or UPS collects your parcel, you'll receive a tracking email with your tracking number. Use it on the carrier's website to follow your order in real time. Transit typically takes 8–15 business days from this point.

Delivery Day: What to Do

Before signing, do a quick check of the outer packaging for any major damage from transit. If the box has significant visible damage (not just scuffs — actual structural damage), photograph it before opening. This matters for any transit damage claim.

Once open, inspect your companion before first use. If you see anything that looks like a manufacturing defect — not a cosmetic imperfection, but an actual structural or material issue — document it with photos and contact us within 48 hours. Used items cannot be returned.

For most buyers, delivery day is just unboxing day. Enjoy.
